UTAH – SALT LAKE CITY – Red Butte Garden

Notes: Located on the campus of the University of Utah, Red Butte is a world-class garden and one of the best we’ve ever visited. Spread out over 100 acres are a variety of display areas, well-laid-out walking paths, and extensive hiking trails (if you are interested). Jean and I were there during the middle of the summer and were impressed with the colorful blooms and foliage we saw. An admission fee is charged. There is no separate charge for parking. But the number of spaces is somewhat limited (for the size of the garden), so you may want to try to get there early.
