UTAH – ARCHES NATIONAL PARK – Windows Section

Notes: The Windows Section of this scenic national treasure is accessed via an asphalt road to the east, which turns off the main park road just north of Balanced Rock. This section of Arches contains four features of interest: North Window, South Window (sometimes jointly referred to as The Spectacles), Turret Arch, and Double Arch. The first three can be explored up-close-and-personal on a 0.7 mile trail. The towering formation known as Double Arch can be visited at the end of a separate, mostly level 0.5 mile trail which does go through some soft sand. All of these arches are worth seeing.
