SOUTH CAROLINA – GREENVILLE – Kilgore-Lewis Garden

Notes: This garden is easy to get to, free, and a wonderful, mostly-shaded place to spend part of a spring morning or afternoon. I’ve found that mid-March through the first part of May are good times to be here. The address is 560 North Academy Street. As you face the historic Kilgore-Lewis House, enter the left-most driveway, ascend the hill, and find a place to park. Then walk down the steps to leisurely wander among the colorful blooms.
