Date of Visit: Early May 2013
Conditions: Mostly Cloudy
Time of day: Mid day
Photography: I benefited considerably from three factors during this visit. The first favorable factor was that the sun stayed behind the clouds for most of my time here. Second, that area’s precipitation had been 30% above average, which considerably enhanced the volume of water coming over the falls. The third factor, which was a surprise, was the number of wildflowers I found there including Nodding Trillium (see above), May Apple, and Jack-in-the-Pulpit. (I actually think I spent more time on this visit with the flowers than I did with the falls.)
